E-juice consists of flavor concentrates, base liquid and nicotine (optional). The base liquid in turn consists of various large percentages of PG and VG.
- PG is short for propylene glycol and stands for “throat hit” in the e-juice, grated throat.
- VG is short for vegetable glycerin and is the component that produces steam.
Have in mind that clearomizers that uses pre made coils should not use an e-juice with a percentage of VG higher than 70% because of its viscous consistency. The limitation in pre made coils are due to its inability to absorb this kind of viscous liquids, or cant transport e-juice fast enough into the coil causing burnt cotton. However, there are exceptions, some clearomizers can use up to 90% VG.
Though rebuildable atomizers (RBA) may use any proportion of VG, and if you’re looking for the biggest clouds you should go for a max VG e-juice.
